Frequently asked questions

Everything parents and students ask before signing up.

What grades is Maths Learn with Fun designed for?

Maths Learn with Fun is built for primary school students in Grades 1 through 5, aligned to the Beaconhouse (Pakistan) and Cambridge Primary math curricula.

Is Maths Learn with Fun free to use?

Yes. Creating an account, scanning questions, and using the AI tutor and practice mode are free during our launch period.

Does the camera scanner work with handwritten questions?

Yes. The AI uses Google Gemini vision to read both printed textbook questions and student handwriting from notebooks and worksheets.

What math topics does it cover?

It covers all primary math topics: arithmetic (addition, subtraction, multiplication, division), fractions, decimals, word problems, time, money, measurement, and introductory geometry.

How does the step-by-step explanation work?

For every scanned question, the AI tutor (your math tutor) restates the question, identifies the numbers and operations, solves it one step at a time, explains why each step works, gives the final answer, and offers one similar practice question.

Is there a parent dashboard?

Yes. Parents can see daily and weekly progress, accuracy, streaks, time spent, and which topics their child is strongest and weakest in.

Does it work on both mobile and laptop?

Yes. The app is mobile-first but fully responsive on tablets and laptops. On phones, tapping 'Take a photo' opens the device camera directly.

Is student data safe?

Scans and progress data are stored in a private per-user account with row-level security. Only the signed-in student and their parent account can access their data.
